System features a heavy weight (a sentinel) positioned half way or more down the rode to prevent the anchor line from rising and provide more secure and safer anchoring. Cast non-magnetic bronze. Stainless steel hardware. Pulley for 3/8" to 3/4" rodes with spacer for non-binding operation. Weather resistant flexgate with positive locking saddle. All edges and corners are rounded to avoid chafe, and bottom is coated to protect a boat's deck against bumps and scrapes. Cast hook for "temporary" storage on pulpit of handrail while setting or hauling in an anchor. 4.75" diameter by 10.75" high; 20-plus lbs.
